Why are we on this planet?

What is the meaning of life?

What is the point of living, if we are all destined to die one day anyway?

These are questions which I have struggled to find answers too. Questions that have suffocated my brain for too long now. Questions that science can’t even answer. Nobody will ever have the correct answers.

During my struggles I have finally been able to create my own answers to these questions. You may have different answers. Is that not what makes us human?

My curiosity as a child held no bounds. I questioned everything. I think that’s good, intense at times but positive nonetheless. I believe it is good to be intuitive.

Education is power, meanwhile ignorance is bliss. Being inquisitive brings strength and weakness and that is reciprocal for not being inquisitive at all.

I’m learning to love education, music, art, therapy, exercise and current affairs.

What are you learning to love? Our minds and bodies are so special. Go find your love.

It is our earth after all, the bourgerious may have the money, power and pull. However, we are the meek and according to the Bible “blessed are the meek as they shall inherit the earth”.

According to the Old Testament, the Hebrew word for ‘meek’ is anaw, which refers to someone who is afflicted or bearing a heavy burden.

Aren’t we all carrying a heavy burden? It’s a crazy little thing called life.

I love life. I love living. I don’t want to go to sleep, I don’t want today to end because we are not promised tomorrow.

We should suck every ounce and fibre out of life as physically and mentally as possible.

If you’re unhappy, try new things, switch jobs, exit and enter relationships. Mix it up, just please yourself and you will definitely be on the right path.

In life no matter how little we have we always have each other. We don’t have to be related, or close. Smile at that person walking down the street, love thy neighbour, share, care, be open, be honest, be transparent. Everyday is a blessing and a gift, maybe that is why we call it ‘the present’.

I believe we are on this planet to gather information from one another, to advance causes, to share love and make love, to reproduce, to keep evolving, to be happy, to live our dreams, to care, to cry and nurture too. We are here to live.

Loved ones leave us behind and they watch and try to guide us from above. They can’t make it perfect, perfect is boring, where is the fun in that? We all make mistakes, be easy on yourself and others too. We are only human.

I am now a strong believer in an afterlife. I believe it is impossible to create an earth as magical as ours to have it finish with just nothing. Blank, darkness, the end. There can not be an end. Just evolution.

We only get one life and believe you me, this ain’t no dress rehearsal, this is the real deal. Fasten your seat belts and live and let live.
